I Disturbed sono un gruppo heavy metal di Chicago. Formata nel 1994 con il nome di Brawl, la band ha inciso sei album in studio, cinque dei quali hanno raggiunto consecutivamente la posizione numero 1 nella classifica di Billboard. Questa cover è uscita il 7 dicembre del 2015, è arrivata al numero 1 nelle classifiche “Billboard Hard Rock Digital Songs”  e “Mainstream Rock”, ed è il brano che ha raggiunto la posizione più alta della classifica ufficiale dei singoli, posizionandosi al numero 42

I Mumford & Sons sono una folk rock band inglese formatasi nel dicembre del 2007. Questa cover/duetto è una delle tre esclusive canzoni contenute nell’edizione deluxe del loro secondo album, Babel, uscito il 24 settembre 2012. L’album ha debuttato al numero uno in Gran Bretagna e negli Stati Uniti, e ai Grammy Awards del 2013 vinse il premio come Allbum dell’anno. Nel 2013 la band vinse ai Brit Awards il premio come migliore gruppo britannico

This cover/duet is one of the three exclusive songs contained in the deluxe edition of their second album, Babel, released on 24 September 2012. The album debuted at number one in the UK and US, and at the 2013 Grammy Awards won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. In 2013 the band won a Brit Award for Best British Group

Questo è un famoso brano scritto da Felice e Boudleaux Bryant e pubblicato nel 1957. La canzone è conosciuta maggiormente nella versione degli Everly Brothers. Questa cover live di Simon e Garfunkel, registrata nel concerto del duo a Central Park il 19 settembre 1981, raggiunse la posizione 27 della classifica Billboard Hot 100 nel 1982, ed è l’ultima hit del duo a entrare tra le prime 40 canzoni in classifica

This is a popular song written by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant and published in 1957. The song is best known in a recording by The Everly Brothers. This live version by Simon and Garfunkel, recorded in the duo’s concert in New York’s Central Park on September 19, 1981, reached #27 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1982, and is the duo’s last Top 40 hit.

Questa canzone, composta nel 1913 e basata su musiche popolari delle Ande, è forse la più nota canzone peruviana in quanto la sua melodia fu usata dal gruppo andino Los Incas, che la incise nei primi anni ’60. Venne poi reinterpretata anche da Simon & Garfunkel con un testo in inglese ed il titolo “El Condor Pasa (If I Could)”, ed inclusa nell’album del 1970 “Bridge over Troubled Water”.

This song, composed in 1913 and based on the popular music of the Andes, is perhaps the best-known Peruvian song because its melody was used by the Andean Group Los Incas, who recorded it in the early ’60s. He was later reinterpreted by Simon & Garfunkel with an English text and the title “El Condor Pasa (If I Could)” and included in the album of 1970 “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”

Bridge over Troubled Water, singolo di punta dell’omonimo disco,  raggiunse la vetta delle classifiche statunitensi il 28 febbraio 1970 rimanendovi per sei settimane prima di essere rimpiazzata da Let it Be. Annoverato al 47esimo posto della lista delle 500 migliori canzoni di sempre secondo la rivista “Rolling Stone”, il brano è stato insignito del Grammy Awards per la Migliore canzone dell’anno nel 1971
