Eddie Vedder convinced the band to play this poignant ballad during the Yield Tour; in the following year the song began to be aired by radio stations and came quickly in the music rotation across the State. By popular demand of the cover, Pearl Jam released a single of the song and revenues were donated to charity for refugees of the Kosovo war.
