Mike Patton, noto soprattutto per essere stato il cantante del gruppo rock “Faith no more”, dopo il matrimonio con un’artista italiana ha vissuto a Bologna per due anni. Ascoltando in radio musica italiana anni ’50-60, ha deciso di incidere nel 2010 uno splendido album di cover, “Mondo cane”, di cui ci sarà a breve un seguito. Roy Paci è uno dei trombettisti più famosi d’Italia. Il live è tratto da un concerto ad Amsterdam

Mike Patton, best known for being the lead singer of the rock band “Faith No More”, after his marriage to an Italian artist lived in Bologna for two years. Listening to radio the Italian music of the 50s-60, in 2010 he decided to record a splendid cover album, “Mondo cane”, of which there will soon be a sequel. Eddie Vedder convinse la band a suonare questa struggente ballata durante lo Yield Tour; nell’anno seguente il brano iniziò ad essere mandato in onda dalle stazioni radio e arrivò rapidamente nella rotazione musicale di tutto lo Stato. Dalla richiesta popolare della cover, i Pearl Jam rilasciarono un singolo della canzone e i ricavi furono devoluti in beneficenza per i rifugiati della guerra del Kosovo. Il gruppo incluse Last Kiss sull’album di b-sides “Lost Dogs” nel 2003

By popular demand of the cover, Pearl Jam released a single of the song and revenues were donated to charity for refugees of the Kosovo war. The band included Last Kiss in the album of b-sides “Lost Dogs” in 2003
