Perfect Day è uno dei brani di maggior successo di Lou Reed e fu pubblicato per la prima volta nell’album “Transformer” del 1972 prodotto da David Bowie. Nel 1997 la canzone fu scelta dalla BBC per un singolo in favore dell’UNICEF che fu trasmesso alla radio e nei cinema e che comprendeva Lou Reed stesso e altri artisti maggiori che cantavano il brano spartendosi le strofe del testo.
